She looked back at those memories that she did not care to discuss
You know the ones that hide deep down inside;
Yeah, those that left the biggest scars

Slowly saying good bye to the roots of her insecurity;
Saying good bye to the fears that speaks silently in her mind
Saying he's going to leave me;
Mistreat me
Maybe beat me physically or verbally, emotionally;
If he doesn't believe that I am a woman worthy to be loved and respected.

Rejected in her life at a time when she could not define that lonely little girl from back in the day;
She was dying to let the woman inside of her be;
Just so she could be free from the pain of yesterday's emotional sores.
Emotional sores from dysfunctional relations and mind masturbation's;
Longing to erase them;
Fought reality to face them;
Slowly saying goodbye

But blazing through confidence and self esteem now rises and shines
